Back in October, Oh My! Creative agency, who were working with their client Cadbury for their British Sign Language (BSL) campaign, got in touch in time for a Halloween inspired shoot.
During Halloween, communication becomes difficult for the deaf community, as masks obstruct lip reading and many people lack knowledge of BSL. This can disadvantage deaf children, making it harder for them to fully enjoy the trick-or-treat experience.
The aim of this shoot was to highlight ‘the most BSL friendly street in the UK’. In the video below, you can watch 6 year old Ada, diagnosed as profoundly deaf at the age of 18 months, going trick-or-treating for the very first time!
