Earlier this year, Worcestershire Film Office had the pleasure of working with BBC Studios on the latest series of the internationally acclaimed drama Father Brown. Loved by audiences worldwide, the series follows the crime solving priest as he unravels mysteries in the Cotswolds, blending period charm with gripping storylines.
When the production team reached out to us, they were looking for the perfect filming location in Worcester. We were able to source a private site that suited their needs precisely, providing the right backdrop for the show’s distinctive mix of atmosphere and storytelling.
Our involvement went beyond finding the right location. WFO also facilitated parking arrangements and organised road closures to ensure the filming period ran smoothly and safely. This kind of logistical support is essential in helping high-profile productions bring their vision to life without disruption and it’s exactly what we specialise in.
With its historic architecture, picturesque villages, and versatile landscapes, Worcestershire continues to be a sought-after filming destination. By hosting Father Brown Series 12, the county once again proves its ability to accommodate productions of international scale, while offering the charm and authenticity that audiences have come to love.
Father Brown Series 12 is due to air on BBC One and BBC iPlayer in January 2025. Fans can look forward to another season of intrigue, humour, and period drama with Worcester proudly part of the story.
Stay tuned for the official release date and keep your eyes peeled for familiar local sights on screen!
