This is one of the prettiest recreation areas of a small ancient market town, with beautiful river views and many handsome trees. There is a large open playing area used by many and home to some well known events. There is a childrens play area, tennis courts, a bowling green, and a Civic and Memorial Garden. A great place for filming and photography.
